Public Announcement for Whole of Tonga

Weekly Testing of National Early Warning Systems (Sirens and Remote Activated Receiver/RAR) for the whole of Tonga, to start Friday 9^th of September, 2022.

This is a public announcement from the Department of Communications, MEIDECC, to ALL members of the public that the Department will continue testing the National Early Warning Systems on Friday 9^th of September, 2022 for the whole of Tonga. Please take note this is a TESTING EXERCISE ONLY for the public. A clear message indicating that this is a TESTING EXERCISE which will be played from both the Sirens and RAR.

This TESTING EXERCISE will be conducted weekly every Friday at noon, until further notice.
